Sat Nam yogis 🌸
Here is the meditation that we’re practicing this week. It was one of the first Kundalini meditations that I practiced and I loved it 😃 I still remember those mornings when I practiced Kundalini yoga with Maya Fiennes videos. It was a tough period in my life. But I noticed my days were becoming brighter and I was happier and more energetic after doing yoga. I found that sweet experience, that opening and expansion inside. So I started craving it. Going deeper every day.
Every meditation and kriya opens up like a blossom with regular practice. It only gets sweeter 💜
So here are the instructions in case you want to do it on your own:
✔ Sit in a comfortable position with your spine straight. Close your eyes and become aware of your body, breath, your emotional and mental state.
✔Tune-in with Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo, chanting it 3 times.
✔Eyes: The eyes are closed, focusing at the Brow Point.
✔Mantra: Sat Kartaar, meaning Universe is the Doer. It helps to open and trust the Flow of the Divine doing everything.
✔Movement. As you say Sat, the hands are pressed together in Prayer Pose at the center of the chest.
As you say Kar, the hands are extended out from the shoulders half-way towards the final position. Fingers are pointing straight up.
As you say Taar, the arms are fully extended out to the sides and parallel to the floor with the fingers pointing up.
Make the transition from step to step a flowing movement.
✔Time: Continue for 3 – 11 minutes.
✔At the end take a deep inhale, hold your breath, stretch the spine up. Exhale. Repeat 2 more times.
✔Don’t rush after the meditation. Keep observing your inner space and breath.
✔Finish with chanting Sat Nam 🙏
